Life is unpredictable and it can be stressful to make everything right. Fortunately, the Coast Guard has many programs in place to help active duty members and their families, that you're never truly alone. Office of Work Life and their many programs:
Employee Assistance Program--From health coaching to college applications and tax preparations.
Family Resource Program--Family health, child/elderly care, Tricare and the Special Needs program.
Family Advocacy Program--Advocacy for abuse and domestic violence issues.
Transition and Relocation Program--Assistance with PCS or retirement transition.
Health Promotion--Health and wellness matters, like weight loss, smoking cessation and stress reduction.
Decedent Affairs Officer--Assistance in funeral arrangements and next of kin entitlements.
Family Child Care--Referrals for child care and child care subsidies.
